I'm just wrapping my current read and was thinking how much I look forward to finding the next. Then here you are, sailing into my inbox (kind of Kramer-style, to quote Sally :->) and I have my answer. Just pre-ordered it!
Also, this wisdom...ALL THE YES: "Fun is faster than your worry, and louder than your panic."
I spent the day yesterday with a clown who quoted a teacher who gave that exact same description of the speed of fun! Perhaps they had the same instructor? What kismet, and this sounds like a great read. Loved this piece!
I love this! It very well could be. (The next half of the interview includes a shot of Sally’s desk and a clown nose may or may not be present.) So glad you enjoyed it!
Finally got to borrow this book from the library (long wait-list, reading other books) and it was delightful to read from beginning to end! I looked forward to picking the book up each time and chortled through the adventures while reading. I actually forgot who recommended it until I went back to look -- thank you, Caroline, for this recommendation! 🤓
Sally sounds fabulous! My summer reading list is getting another addition, thanks for sharing!!
She is wonderful. (Wait’ll you see the next installment. Truly a gem.) So glad to hear it!
Sally’s story is perhaps the most delightful one I’ve heard all day…I’m excited for Sunday’s continuation! 🍿
I’m so happy to hear that! I can’t wait to share — it speaks directly to anyone who has struggled with writing habits/practices (so…everyone?).

Yay! So happy to hear this. I think you’ll really enjoy it. You’ll have to let me know once you’ve read so we can discuss.
Will definitely do!!

I have just finished Big in Sweden, and it is somehow even MORE delightful than you describe here.
Oh yay! I’m absolutely delighted to hear that. Sally is such a talent. And a gem of a human, too.
I was not prepared for the delicious food spread through every chapter. This book made me HUNGRY.
So intrigued! Adding both books to my reading list now ☺️
Can’t wait to read!
Thank you, Kris!
This sounds so fun! Looking forward to reading it!
Thank you, Helen!
