Thank you so much! And yes, I was thinking that line is actually the first part of the project: sharing the reality of it all and letting go of expectations. Not always easy, but definitely worth it!
Excited to join you on this journey! This project is very inspirational, for I am feeling much the same as you these days. Thank you for sharing your gifted guidance with us!
I woke up feeling similarly - like I needed to get back to my creative self and remember what it's like to be a writer who actually writes. Also I had no idea the solstice was 12 weeks away! I may be joining you on this project. :)
I’d love that! My goal is to show up without worrying about output or outcome and see what happens… and my dream is for it to become a group project! :)
Yes!! I would love that. Though it’s very much appropriate for kids, I tried to write it on multiple levels, so grownups with BSC nostalgia would be entertained, too.
Looking forward to following along! I've had a couple of "pivots" in my life and have embarked on what I called "me projects" at those times - they've been transformative and I wish the same for you. Cheering you on!❤️
This sounds fantastic - and so well timed, love the idea of spring as an alternative NY, much more intuitive. Would love to hear about things you've been reading leading to this!
Thank you! That’s a great point—I was looking back through recent reads to answer you and realized I’ve struggled to finish books as of late! But this project was (partially) spawned by all the journaling I’ve been doing in recent months. That being said, I’m reading and revisiting a bunch of books as part of this experiment and will be sharing those!
Exciting! Giving something a time frame like that feels so helpful. Over the last few weeks I’ve been having internet free weekends and have found it has shifted my attention and opened things up for me. Even little tweaks make a difference so I love your project idea to be so deliberate. Love the card too. I needed this today!
Looking forward to this series, Caroline.
Thank you, David!
I am so here for this Passion Project! And also, grateful that you’re sharing it with us!
Thank you so much, Heather! I’m excited to share it.
Congrats on the NYT hat tip!
More importantly, congrats on this: “…where I can be more vulnerable and unpolished for an intimate, engaged audience.”
Look forward more of you. Just promise not to put the genie back in the bottle once it’s out.😊

Thanks so much, Sonya! Excited to embark on this journey, together!
Yay! Excited for this new series. Also big congrats on NYT mention <3

Yessssss, I love this! So excited to follow along.
Wait, I was a Babysitter’s Club fanatic… Is it ok if I read your book??
Yes!! I would love that. Though it’s very much appropriate for kids, I tried to write it on multiple levels, so grownups with BSC nostalgia would be entertained, too.
Sweet! The nostalgia is real!

Thank you!
Wonderful. ❤️✨
“I have lost my way because I have lost my why.” Brilliant, Caroline. And congratulations on the NYT and Passion Project.
Thank you so much, Jolene! ❤️

"Each week will focus on a theme" such a good idea; much less daunting and more do-able than confronting oneself with a big overarching goal.
Thanks! The truth is, I have no idea what I’m doing, or else I would have changed my life already. So I had to make a little curriculum…
