Caroline, thank you for a year of Yoda-like snacks of wisdom.🤗
I got up very early this morning, to open up the house and let the cool morning air swirl through my home, before the heat of yet another stinkin' hot day rises. (A solid week of hovering around 96.8F)
The little birds dancing in the shrubs, wet from the sprinklers, glistening in water droplet sparkles.
This. This is joy. This is how I now get to start my days, free. Free from containment. Free from bone-achingly relentless control. Free to be.
Joy is big and small and even missed as we rush about being human doings.
On reflection at the end of each day, I count the joys and dwell on them.
The birds dancing in the water droplets of the early morning will be revisted this evening as I reflect on my day, because joy can repeat. Memories can replay the joy.
Thanks and hugz, Caroline, for spreading an extra dollop of joy through the world.
Thank you. I’m the queen of talking myself out of feeling joy. Also everyone is people including myself might be my new mantra. I hold myself back from connecting with people all the time because I am worried I will say the wrong thing or accidentally offend someone. So thank you for the reminders.
You are so wise and lovely Caroline. Thank you for this beautiful perspective as we close this year. Wishing you joy, crumbs and all for 2023!
Happy Holidays! I wish you lots of joy and sparkle! And no door slamming. ❤️✨❤️✨
Thank you thank you for your writing. I look forward to reading each week :)
You're the best! Thank you for this beautiful newsletter as I am going through a very difficult time. Wishing you the best in 2023!
