Caroline! I’m sitting in my bedroom, bleary eyed at 7am, feeling my heart well up with gratitude 💛 I’m still processing how our chat could yield an interview as nuanced and thought provoking as this, which speaks volumes of the incredible writer, listener and conversationalist you are. Thank you for featuring me and sharing my story. So much love to you and your wonderful community here 🥹 — Gwen
Oh I’m so glad to have found you on Caroline’s sub Gwen. I didn’t think I’d find such a person here. I’ve just followed you! Brilliant interview. 🙌🏼 Thanks Caroline! I found astrology during early Covid after dabbling for years and I am still learning but find it so fascinating. I love to look at the people I know well and compare their charts with them. I also back in my life at the cycles such as Jupiter in Gemini last time to see where I was in life and how might reflect again.
This brings me so much joy, Sally. Thank you for your kind words 🥹 I too fell in love with Astrology during the pandemic. So excited for Jupiter in Gemini and the blessings it will bring to our little Substack community. Sending so much love!!
great conversation ~ your realistic philosophies, Caroline and Gwen, on taking the information that both astrology and the tarot offer are similar. If a person chooses to believe in the age old wisdom of either modality and use the personal information for contemplation and/or spiritual growth, then use that information. if a person is skeptical , well, 🤷🏻♀️, there are other ways of learning during one's life. You choose. As for me, I will pay attention to the stars and planets, AND to the cards to offer insight when I need it ~which is often enough. As a human, I appreciate the extra guidance.
Gwen and Caroline, this was my favorite explanation of astrology that I’ve encountered since my own deep dive five years ago. I love the spectrum explanation so much. I always tell people, “I don’t believe in astrology, I experience astrology.” (Just like Tarot.) It feels comforting to tap into that greater connection of the universe. (And to relinquish my control over it! Which is the HARDEST for this Virgo Stellium Cap Sun 😅)
Love this, Caroline and Gwen. I will still blame being an Aries with a Scorpio rising on that "You're now dead to me/you no longer exist" reaction when someone crosses a line even I didn't know was there. I have a lot of patience and have been known to forgive but, once that's done, it's done. LOL. xo
It's really sort of wonderful in its own terrible way. Helps you clean house quick! LOL. You are fantastic, Gwen. And you should sell those card you made. They are art! Wall art, postcards, flashcards...ALL the cards and art! T-shirts, even! Beautiful stuff. xo
Love this interview! Astrology is one of my great loves, so i appreciate you bringing in someone who understands the art of skilled astrologers. I see it as a great way to get to know yourself and others better. I do birth chart and transit readings for friends and always tell people astrology will tell you what energy you will feel. What you choose to do with that energy is up to you. I find it incredibly comforting to be reminded all good and bad things will pass and provide us an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and our community.
“What you choose to do with that energy is up to you.” That’s such an epic way to put it, Sharon. Thank you for sharing!! 🥹💓 I love that you’re like a personal astrologer for your friends!
Really lovely interview, thanks for sharing. “You already know who you are” and “this too shall pass” are kind of essential tenets when using tarot as well, aren’t they?

Thank you, Bernadette! So happy to hear you enjoyed it. I appreciate and echo your views here, especially those last couple sentences. :)

This means the world to me, E.L. 🥹 Especially coming from someone with so much Earth 🤣🫶 Thank you so much!!!!!!
😂😂 FWIW I’ve always felt like an Air trapped in an Earth’s body!
I echo everything you say! From a Virgo Sun and AC and Leo stellium!

Thank you! I, too, am a Scorpio rising, and I understand this reaction verrry well. I'm sure Gwen would have lots more to say about it. x
Ha! Both Aries and Scorpio are traditionally ruled by Mars, the warrior planet, so I can empathize with that reaction 😂☄️

This was a delightful conversation, thank you! Love this perspective on astrology and makes me want to get a chart reading ✨
That’s so lovely to hear Heather! Thank you 🥹💞

Thank you! And yes! (Depends on the philosophy of the reader, I suppose, but in my view, yes. :)
Caroline
This was the first time I read anything on astrology
I like how Gwen linked it to curiosity
I liked her entire approach
Thank you, David, that means a lot 🥹
