My heart when I saw “Hi” 💗 I LOVE the name and you had me at “Magic Hours.” Cheeseballs is my favorite but The Places is exactly what I needed to read tonight. “You’ll never be the strangest, the loveliest, the best. How freeing to know you needn’t worry about superlatives. You can simply be yourself.” Perhaps that’s why I’ve always wanted to live in NYC. But a move to any new place might trigger the same. After living here in my hometown of 924k for 35 years, I’ve always felt like I needed to be important, to amount to something. Maybe in my new hometown of 967k, I can relish in finally being a nobody! Your ghosts line is brilliant though. And while I won’t see them on my drives through all the neighborhoods I used to live in, I’m sure I’ll be haunted nonetheless, even 1400 miles away.
