I’ve been such a fan of your writing for years. I don’t know how you do it but every newsletter is relevant to exactly what is happening in my life that week, it’s uncanny! In a good way :) Thank you so much for sharing. Jen from Liverpool, England x
Thank you, Jen! That means a lot. And I’m so happy to hear about the uncanny timing. Not sure how it works out that way, either, but that’s the sort of magic I believe in. :) Waving from New York x
"It’s a welcome reminder that progress happens in stages. You wouldn’t plant a seed and expect it to blossom, overnight, into a mature plant. But so often we expect this from ourselves and our endeavors. You cannot learn a language in a week, train for a marathon in one day, or build a company in an afternoon. Experience takes time. So does change. Cut yourself some slack." < Thank you for this! Such a wonderful reminder.
Fear of saliva?!🤣 I need more explanation on this one. And also, it may be too nosy, but how many decks do you own Caroline?? I picture them with their own closet which I know couldn’t be possible in the city, except, could it be?
With the extra features I’d be into all the above you mentioned.
So...I'm okay with the saliva in my own mouth, but whenever I see saliva out in the world, if someone spits on the street, or if a bunch of people drink from the same cup — or, worse, if someone's spit actually lands on me (rare, but in a city it's happened) — I can't help but picture the enzymes and bacteria rapidly multiplying in a sort of microscopic party scenario. Festive, but gross. Needless to say, public drinking fountains are not my friend.
As for decks, the short answer is TOO MANY. Not quite a closet worth, they live on a little rolling cart near my desk. (This also includes oracle decks.) In my defense, I've been collecting them since childhood and have received some as gifts. But it's safe to say that books and tarot cards are my weakness!
This is one thing I have to keep reminding my self of: things take time! My heart knows it, but my mind is not ok with that and always wants things to be ready right now!! The art of patience:) Have a good week!
Me too. No matter how much I think I understand this, or how much I see it in practice, I still expect everything to happen instantly (and sometimes feel like a failure if it doesn't). But I suppose our work is never done. :) Thank you, Joana!
A great topic and such well written thoughts, especially poignant during these times. Fear and Love do indeed seem like the basic motivating forces as we see people do courageous things due to love...love for ones country, ideology, family, etc.
I held off reading this one just because the title sounded like it would make me teary and it’s been a tough week. I’m glad I did. I’ll just be over here taking it one step at a time and keeping the faith that it’ll all come in time. Thanks!
Hahaha, "Everything." Me too! And my anxiety has definitely gotten worse since the pandemic. But I'm getting better at managing it, a little at a time. And YES, all of the above is definitely an answer! I'd like to create all of it, just want to gauge what people are actually interested in. Thank you so much, Nicole.
I’d love to see book recommendations. Honestly though I love everything you write !!
Ditto!
Thank you! Will have book recommendations for sure!

Thank you, Andrea! (It's something I need to remind myself of... pretty much all the time.) I'm so glad it was helpful.
I found this post really inspiring, Caroline. Especially the stuff about the Ace of Wands and just going for it. Thank you!!
Thank you, Isabelle! I'm so happy to hear that.
Somehow, every week, you write exactly what I need to hear when I need to hear it.
I could not be happier to hear that. Thank you.
Your thoughts and how you express them beautifully is frankly a balm to the soul.
Thank you, Erin.

Thank you, Wendy. Right there with you, taking it one day and one step at a time. Here's hoping this week might be better. ❤️
